Juan David Alduncin is an MBA candidate at London Business School and a Blended Finance & Strategic Initiatives Consultant with the World Bank Group’s IDA Private Sector Window. He is a development finance professional with experience mobilizing private capital toward high-impact projects across emerging markets, having contributed to over $9 billion in blended finance investments, including significant engagement in Nigeria.
In addition to his work in development finance, Juan David brings experience supporting entrepreneurs and founders, including in a full-time role at a digital design studio in Los Angeles, where he developed go-to-market strategies for early-stage ventures. He is also the co-founder of the London Business School Global Emerging Markets Discussion Forum, an initiative focused on fostering dialogue and collaboration around growth and investment opportunities in developing economies.
Juan David holds an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS University of London, with a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, and has also studied at Cornell University and George Washington University. His experience spans multilateral institutions, including the United Nations and the World Bank, equipping him with a global perspective on development, policy, and international cooperation.
He is particularly passionate about supporting local talent and advancing locally led development. On the advisory board, he brings expertise in development finance, entrepreneurship, and international careers, with a focus on helping young leaders translate ambition into impactful, scalable initiatives.
